Whoa, are people actually not gonna watch the episode and wanting to skip the eps that don't have Cas in them? Damn. I like Castiel fine, as a side character. I think he's adorable and funny and I'm happy to see him every now and then, but it wouldn't break my heart to see him leave either. I'm not that attached.
And I'll admit, I was a little disappointed with this episode, but that had more to do with the terrible pacing and (in my opinion, anyway) badly written and edited hallucination scenes. Character wise? I loved it. The meeting between them was anti-climatic, and I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. I'm pretty sure we're supposed to feel how Dean looked at the end--confused, upset and heartbroken. Sam is back, but things aren't magically better, in fact, things seem distinctly off, and that's fantastic, 'cause it's probably going to lead to a great story line.
