Guys I seriously need help making animations. Does anyone know how or where to find a good tut on how? I mean, look at this:

Photobucket

It's so choppy! You see such lovely gifs that just flow right like the movie but I just cant get mine like that! I'm so lost and I'm getting really frustrated. :p

-cries-

How many caps did you use for those? I think I had about 14 with the last one duplicated twice. And plus, I didn't make my caps so I don't know how many frames it's actually getting; do you have to literally frame every second as it goes by - yourself - so it looks alright?

Sorry for the twenty questions! haha

The first one is 24, second is 82.

Yeah, pretty much. I set up hot keys, so I can just hold down C at that half speed and it'll cap it as long as I want. It's crazy helpful, though.

Wow! A lot of caps haha.

Okay and you set that speed - .67 - as the speed for the caps in PS?

I'm sure I can find the rest of the stuff I have questions about at your tut so I won't ask anymore xD

lol, it's okay.

I set the speed in VLC -- just make it go a bit slower, so they kind of sound like demons. With that many caps the Image Ready speed is like no delay or maybe 0.1 seconds.

Ah well capping it myself would make it easier too then I suppose cause then I could just cap only the bits I want into a seperate folder...Sorry, musing to self. xD

Anyways! Thanks so much for all your help! Now I just need to dl those big ass LOTR movies -sigh- xD

IMO the caps way takes longer and you can mess it up so much easier than the way I said below. However, you can edit them easier such as contrast/colour/etc. since you're working with a graphics program rather than an animation program.
