CLAP YOUR HANDS IF YOU BELIEVE YO
FINALLY got to watch the episode. The stupid fucking football game went in OT and so Smallville didn't start till 10:25 and then SPN started an hour later.
To make matters fucking worse it wasn't in HD so it was this little tiny box on my gigantor screen. :|
I wasn't happy at all - pretty pissed, actually, so thank GOD this ep was so epic or I might have been throwing a slightly bigger tantrum.
I seriously want a tee shirt with that. And I wasn't following Twitter live since I didn't want to see spoilers but I guess people were getting offended and thought it was a derogatory slur? I'm sorry but LOL. IT'S SO COOL THAT IT TRENDED THO.
Okay, so I'll be honest here and say I didn't pay ALL THAT MUCH attention to the episode - or rather the lack of HD blindsided me. After I rewatch it again with my dad I'll probably remember more but, yes, I know I'm so immature being whiny and petulant over lack of HD but I just CANNOT CONCENTRATE if it's a teensy little out of focus box on my 55" screen downstairs. Just. UGH.
What I do remember is that I laughed pretty much non-stop the first half an hour.
+ The whole Dean being Sam's conscience. <33333333333333 OH YEAH. DEAN IS THE JIMINY TO SAM'S PINOCCHIO.
+ Loved the whole 'looking at them with big dew-y eyes' bit.
+ Dean's epic lines in the field: "CLOSE ENCOUNTER CLOSE ENCOUNTER" Then the whole "EMPATHY SAM EMPATHY" when he's talking about the stages of abduction and how four is probing. OMG LULZ.
+ It was kind of sad but it's probably just a reflection of my mood - or how my mood was - for how fucking hard i laughed at Sam's "No it's fine, I had time to adjust/get over it." then saying he was abducted half an hour ago. Just the way he said it had me rolling. It's still depressing though.But so hilarious.
+ Dean looked so freaked out when he got back. Awwwwww :(
+ Sam having sex with that chick and Dean walking in? With Sam naked?With a chick? Probably the closest we'll get to actual wincest. xDDDDDDDD But omg I lol'ed.
+ Sam's "It's okay, this is a safe room." OH LORD SAM YOU'RE ACTING LIKE SUCH A CREEPER WITH YOUR HAND ON DEAN'S KNEE LIKE THAT. ..... BUT IT'S OKAY CAUSE I TOTALLY LIKED IT.
+ That restaurant/bar scene was great with all the ~suffering. They're supposed to ~suffer together. Or Sam can go 'be in the dark' with Dean.
+ "Nipples?" + Dean's gorgeous lips&eyes in that close up followed by the 'fight' then microwaving the faerie and Dean's HAHA! .... 'nuff said.
+ "You can't see all the blech?!" "What?" "All the ech?!" OH DEAN AND SAM I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH.
+ "With nipples. And she hit me." "I'm not supposed to laugh right?"I totally did.
+ THE LITTLE ITTY BITTY CUPS THEY'RE DRINKING FROM. SAM'S GIGANTO HANDS ARE SUFFOCATING IT.
+ "Did you service the faerie king?" :o Dean totally did. HE BECAME A FAERIE'S BITCH, YA'LL.Back away from the Dean. He's Sam's bitch.
+ The little sipping. "Do you have bigger cups?"
+ Dean's face during that whole walk away from the faerie dude. Then that weird ass camera angle right on his face that bobbed up and down as he walked. SO AMAZING.
+ "Just kidddinnng." Right Dean. You tackle a dude and expect that to cut it. Not. xD
+ FIGHT THE FAIRRIIIEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again. Still want a tee shirt. Who's on that?
+ At least we know for sure now Dean's not homophobic. SO TAKE THAT NASTY FANS. TAKE THAT.
+ I really do wonder if the leprecaun could have gotten Sam's soul back...THEY BOTH GOT THEIR ASSES KICKED THIS EP. LORDIE.
+ THAT ENDING SCENE. THAT ENDING SCENE. Just take away the ~angst for a moment and LOOK AT IT. In the sunshine, out in the country sitting on their bb, drinking beer...OH MY HEART. IT CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE.
It actually didn't end half as angsty as I thought it would be. I already knew Sam doesn't really want his soul back soooooo it wasnt that much of a shock.
Seriously though. This ep is going down with Mystery Spot as one of the best cracky fillers in the series. It twas AH-MAZING.
Rating: 9.5/10
AND THE PROMO FOR NEXT WEEK IS SCARING ME. SAM WITH THAT BLOOD ON HIS TEETH GRINNING LIKE...WELL...LIKE SATAN. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. [I misspelled that as Satin first. omg]
It still looks really great and I can't wait for Dec 3rd! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeStill want them to replay this ep in HD.
So yeah. Show is awesome and don't ever change.

Anyway OMFG this episode was so damn fantastic! All the lines you pointed out made me realize how full of good lines this episode was. I pretty much agree with everything you just said. But this:
