Apparently she had surprised girls at her school when they discovered she won the role at her school's drama course; while all the girls who auditioned for the role went during the mornings and days to try to get the part, she went at night quietly to audition. But Warner Bros. with Rowling were worried because of the hostility they knew her schoolmates especially the girls who were quite severely pissed off that they didn't win the role and she won would react to her since she had to still attend school until they'd begin shooting in a couple of months for the fifth film...so to make sure nothing happened to her or anyone in the school of students didn't try to harm her in any way, with her parents they arranged with the school staff and headmaster for her to have personal bodyguards be with her 24/7 during her school hours in classes, the hallways, at meals, and etc. on school grounds and around her. I think them doing that was wise because there's no telling what a sore loser girl who didn't win a part in a movie especially HP would/could do to someone that did win.
