Update on my mom

Thank you all so much for your well wishes and hugs. They meant so much to me especially being able to read them while sitting in multiple waiting rooms not even knowing if she was going to be alright.

I was able to finally see and talk with her but  I found out what happened first from a nurse.

She doesn't have her license, she's not even supposed to be driving but she took the car her father gave her and ran it into a semi head first; trying to kill herself. She's told me numerous times she would throw herself in front of a truck, I just didnt know she'd actually ever do it.

When I could talk to her she told me the car started on fire and rolled quite a few times - she should have died.

Her only real injuries are all her teeth are now gone and her jaw is fractured and then some cuts on her arms she did to herself.
 

I asked her if she'd do it again and she said she doesnt have another car. 

I just don't understand why if she loves me so much, she keeps trying to leave me.

Again, I thank you all for your concern, it's helping me get through this right now.

I'm so sorry to hear this, hun. My thoughts go out to both of you.

And try to remember that her doing this has absolutely nothing to do with you. I know this may not be the right thing to say, but I am sure she wasn't thinking about anything other than to get rid of the pain she must be feeling when she tried doing that, it wasn't meant to hurt anyone.
